Photo of the Day – Choo Choo!

It’s my third time to ride the train in Thailand. No this is not the BTS or the MRT. This is the State Railway of Thailand that travels to different provinces from north to south. It offers day trips as well as overnight trips that runs from 8 to 12 hours. It is quite an experience to sleep on the train with the chugging sound lulling you to sleep. Some would prefer to ride the bus because it’s faster but I like riding the train. If you get the chance to visit Thailand, try it and experience the ride! Choo choo!!!!

Photo of the Day – Wat Arun Temple

Also known as Temple of the Dawn, Wat Arun is one of the famous landmarks of Thailand. It was named after Aruna, the Indian God of Dawn. This photo was taken while the boat was cruising along the Chao Phraya River. I was able to take a photo of this place during the day (Meandering in Bangkok) but it’s prettier and more mysterious at night.

Photo of the Day – Sky Lantern

Sky lanterns, also called as Chinese lanterns, are special because it goes airborne when the flame from a candle heats up the air inside the candle. In Thailand, it is used for celebrations and special occasions and is believed to bring good luck to release a sky lantern. A family lights a sky lantern while on vacation in Koh Samui. You wont see the mom because she was busy taking pictures of her family. A time spent with family is a great reason to celebrate and will forever be remembered.

Photo of the Day – Man vs Monkey

This photo was taken at Monkey Beach in Phuket. You guessed it right. It got its name from the monkeys hanging around. From the big boat, we used a kayak to get to the beach. Most of the tourists take pictures, like me, and others give food to the monkeys. Here, the monkey wants more food from the man below. They are pretty sneaky and can grab your bag of food in a flash if you’re not watching.
