It’s my third time to ride the train in Thailand. No this is not the BTS or the MRT. This is the State Railway of Thailand that travels to different provinces from north to south. It offers day trips as well as overnight trips that runs from 8 to 12 hours. It is quite an experience to sleep on the train with the chugging sound lulling you to sleep. Some would prefer to ride the bus because it’s faster but I like riding the train. If you get the chance to visit Thailand, try it and experience the ride! Choo choo!!!!

You’re right. It takes 8-12 hours plus delay but it’s part of the experience. š
I’d much rather travel 8-12 hours on a cool train than skip everything with an hour long flight
